We will work with you to identify your family's needs and preferences and then present you with a list of candidates that fulfill those needs, so you know you're getting a competent and qualified candidate.
Olivebay can also guide you to a great payroll company to assist you with all of the paperwork and regulatory obligations associated with employing a nanny, as well as provide continuing support and resources to parents and nannies.
How our Olivebay placement works

Assessment
When you decide to begin your search with us, you will receive our terms and conditions along with a fee agreement to review and sign. Once these are completed, and your position description is approved, we will start promoting your job and searching for suitable candidates.
Review applications
We carefully examine every application and send you a list of our top candidates for an initial phone interview after pre-screening the applicants.
Interviews

Following the phone interview, if there is a potential match, we will schedule an in-person or virtual interview at your convenience and make all necessary arrangements. If everything goes well, we will then schedule a paid trial day with your preferred candidate to ensure a good fit.
Make an offer
When a job offer is made and the employee accepts it in writing, we can provide you with excellent tools and resources. We can also introduce you to our payroll partners to assist you with your new hire.

How to Get Started:

3. Submit the One-Time Registration Fee: Pay the fee to start your search.
What's Included:
- A personalized nanny search tailored to your family's specific needs.
- Comprehensive background checks and a thorough vetting process.
- Ongoing support and resources throughout the hiring process, from start to finish.
Placement Types and Fees:
- Full-Time Placement (30 hours and up): $7,000 flat fee
- Part-Time Placement (29 hours and below): $6,000 flat fee
- Live-In Placement: $7,000 flat fee
- Nanny Share Placement: $7,500 flat fee
- Temporary/On-Call Placements (1-3 months): $1,500 one-time fee
Doula or Baby Nurse Referral: $399
By choosing the flat fee option, you save significantly on your placement costs.
**We offer a three-month trial period guarantee. If your placement doesn't work out within the first three months, you'll receive a prorated credit toward a new search, valid from month 4 through 12.

Full-Time Placement (30 hours and up)
- Fee:15% of the employee's total first-year gross pay

- Nine-month replacement period
- Prorated credit toward a new search for months 10-12
Part-Time Placement (29 hours and below)
- Fee: 15% of the employee's total first-year gross pay
- Includes:
- Nine-month replacement period
- Prorated credit toward a new search for months 10-12
Temporary Placement (One to three months)
- Fee: 15% of the employee's total first-year gross pay
- Includes:
- Two-week replacement period
- Prorated credit toward a new search from the third week onward
Additional Information
- Clients pay candidates directly for their hourly rate; agency placement fees are separate.
- Only one-time placement fee per hire when a client chooses to hire one of our candidates.
- Placement fees cover all background check costs, including fingerprinting, criminal background checks, DMV checks, and a complete vetting cycle.
